The ninth meeting of the Conference of the Parties will be held in Bonn, Germany, from 19 to 30 May 2008.

With respect to the international regime on access and benefit sharing, it has to be focused on constructive and precise negotiations on equitable sharing of the benefits and the further mandate of the ad-hoc working group to complete the elaboration of an international regime until the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties in 2010.
